30 May Spring Events Near McGill Ridge Apartments in Kamloops
The McGill Ridge Kamloops apartment community is located minutes from the rest of the city and is a quick drive to Trans Canada Highway via McGill Road. We like to say, “We’re 5-minutes to everywhere”, because of our convenient location, which makes getting to events and attractions quick and easy, whether the event is local or beyond the city limits. The 45th Annual Kamloops Regional Farmer’s Market
The farmer’s market began in the early twentieth century, when in 1914 the Kamloops city council set up a market with vendor stalls at Fourth Avenue and Victoria Street. The market had sixteen vendors. You might say the market is “all grown up” now, with 100+ vendors who “make, bake or grow” their own products.

Kweseltken Farmer’s and Artisan Market
The Kweseltken market vendors “make, bake, grow, raise, wild harvest or craft their own products”. The market was launched in June 2019, at the end of the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. 2022 marks the third season.

BC Wildlife Park (Open Daily)
The BC Wildlife Park is a wildlife park and rehabilitation centre for orphaned and injured animals. The park offers a lot of fun, education and food fit for the entire family. In the 18,000 sq. ft. Discovery Centre, check out the gallery, education centre, reptile exhibit, gift shop and Blue Heron Café. Kids can play in the animal-habitat themed playground or cool off in the splash park. You can tour the park onboard the Wildlife Express miniature train!

Rotary International Kamloops Lobsterfest 2022
Drive-thru and pick up a pre-ordered take-out dinner that includes a half-rack of ribs and two lobster tails, buttery potatoes, an Italian green salad, a brownie from Brynn’s Bakery and a bomber of pilsner from Noble Pig.

McArthur Island Park
Whether you want to try pickleball or tennis or have a rousing game of mini-golf, this City of Kamloops park has these fun activities and more, including disc golf, lawn bowling, a skateboard park, bike paths and more.
