27 Aug Not All Kamloops Apartments Are Created Equally
If you’ve ever looked for Kamloops apartments for rent, you know that finding a suitable apartment isn’t easy. For years, Kamloops vacancy rates have been low – and according to Central 1 Credit Union (as reported by Kamloops Matters) – will remain low for several years to come. Central 1 predicts that apartment vacancies will hold at 1.3% from 2019-2021. For apartment hunters, this may mean taking what you can find, and all too often what you find is not what you’d like.

Because of this lack of availability, apartment owners have the upper hand, and many apartments and housing advertised as being “near TRU” are actually not near TRU at all, and frequently leave a lot to be desired.
The introduction of new apartments on the McGill corridor is much needed, particularly for people who work in the Southwest Business District and TRU, and for students looking for TRU apartments.
Until recently, there have been very few choices for newer Kamloops apartments.
