Our Kamloops apartment community is a great “base camp” for many free, summer adventures for individuals, couples, or the whole family. With all of the outdoor activities and events available, you could easily fill each summer weekend with fun and still not visit every place in the following list. Kenna Cartwright Park
Hike, bike, walk or picnic at Kenna Cartwright Park, the largest municipal park in BC. Enjoy beautiful views of the city. Trail difficulty varies so it’s easy to find something for any fitness level.

Riverside Park
Stroll or picnic at Riverside Park, a beautifully maintained city park located minutes from downtown Kamloops. Activities include picnicking, walking, swimming, water park, lawn bowling, tennis and pickleball.

Disc Golf at McArthur Island or Rose Hill
McArthur Island and Rose Hill disc golf courses were created and are maintained by the Kamloops Disc Golf Club. Challenge your disc skills in these beautifully designed courses. Used by recreational and professional disc golfers.

Kamloops Bike Ranch
The Kamloops Bike Ranch is renowned amongst mountain bikers, but you don’t have to be an experienced biker to enjoy the fun. At “The Ranch” there are trails suitable for beginners to professionals. KBR is maintained by the Kamloops Performance Cycling Centre on behalf of the City of Kamloops.

Art in the Park
Art in the Park is a full day (July 1 from 9am to 4pm) of art exhibits and sales, demonstrations, and performances. 100+ artists-vendors from many disciplines including painting, pottery, jewelry, fashion and more will showcase their crafts. Held at Riverside Park.

Music in the Park
Each summer since 1994, Music in the Park has offered free outdoor entertainment from diverse groups and musicians. The event runs each night at 7pm from July 1 to August 31. Performances are at the Rotary Bandshell at Riverside Park.

Kamloops Farmers Market
The historical roots of the Kamloops Farmers Market, date back to early 20th century. The current market has been up and running since 1978. Market vendors include local farmers and home producers, local crafts people, music and events.
Saturday market runs April 22 to October 28 from 8am – 12:30pm.
Location: 200 block of St Paul Street.

Wednesday market runs May 3 to October 25 from 8:30am – 1:30pm.
Location: 400 block of Victoria Street.
